How to Review a Requested Standard App

Updated 2026-04-25

Decide whether a requested standard app should be approved, deferred, rejected, or provisioned.

Use this process when a requested standard app has been submitted during onboarding and needs a decision before it can move forward.

Who this is for

  • Onboarding
  • Tenant Admin
  • Super Admin
  • internal operators with requested app review access

Before you start

Make sure:

  • the requested app belongs to the correct organization
  • you understand whether the app fits the standard onboarding model
  • any notes, comments, or attachments have been reviewed

Steps

1. Open the Onboarding Dashboard 2. Locate the requested app in the requested apps section 3. Review the app name, notes, status, owner, comments, and attachments 4. Decide whether the request should be: - approved - deferred - rejected - provisioned 5. Update the status 6. Add a comment if the decision needs explanation

What to look for during review

A good requested app review usually confirms:

  • the app is a standard supported platform or service
  • the request has enough context to move forward
  • the request belongs in the current onboarding scope
  • there are no obvious blockers or missing details

Best practice

If the request is not ready for provisioning, do not move it forward just to clear the queue. Add a short comment explaining what is missing.
