Requested Standard Apps

Updated 2026-04-25

Application requests captured during onboarding or organizational setup that move toward provisioning.

Requested standard apps are application requests captured during onboarding or organizational setup. They help internal and customer teams track which standard platforms or supported systems need to be brought into NxtLayr.

What can happen to a requested app

A requested standard app can move through review states such as:

  • requested
  • approved
  • deferred
  • rejected
  • provisioned

What provisioning means

When a requested app is provisioned, NxtLayr creates or links a real application record and starts the application onboarding workflow.

Common actions

Depending on your role, you may be able to:

  • review requested apps
  • assign ownership
  • change status
  • add comments
  • upload attachments
  • provision the requested app into application onboarding

Why this matters

Requested apps provide a clean bridge between customer onboarding and the operational application model used throughout the platform.

Best practice

Use comments and attachments to document scope, readiness assumptions, or blockers before provisioning a requested app.
