Provision a Requested App

Requested App Provisioning is the process of turning a requested standard app into a real application record inside NxtLayr. This connects intake-stage requests to full application onboarding.

When to provision a requested app

Provision a requested app when:

• the request has been reviewed
• the app should move into operational onboarding
• the team is ready to begin application setup and readiness work

What happens during provisioning

When a requested app is provisioned, NxtLayr may:

• create or link an application record
• update the requested app status to provisioned
• create onboarding records and supporting workflow data
• link the request to the application onboarding experience

How to provision a requested app

1. Open the relevant onboarding dashboard or board 2. Locate the requested app 3. Review status, notes, comments, and attachments 4. Select the provisioning action 5. Open the resulting application onboarding page if needed

Best practice

Before provisioning, make sure the requested app has enough context for the next team to proceed without rework.
