How to Convert a Custom Discovery Request to an Application

When discovery is complete and the team is ready to operationalize the app, a custom discovery request can be converted into a real application onboarding flow.

Before you start

Make sure:

• the request has enough context to support onboarding
• notes, comments, and attachments are complete enough for downstream work
• the request is ready for formal application setup

Steps

1. Open Custom App Discovery Queue 2. Select the discovery request you want to convert 3. Review title, notes, comments, status, and attachments 4. Select the conversion action, such as Create Custom App 5. Confirm the action if prompted

What happens next

After conversion:

• a real application record is created or linked
• onboarding artifacts and workflow structures may be created
• the discovery request is updated to reflect the conversion
• you can open the related application onboarding page

Convert only when the discovery request contains enough clarity to support onboarding without immediate rework.
