How to Review a Custom Discovery Request
Review a custom discovery request before progressing, reassigning, or converting it to an application.
Use this process when a custom discovery request needs review before it can be progressed, reassigned, or converted into an application.
Who this is for
- Onboarding
- FDE
- FDE Supervisor
- Tenant Admin
- Super Admin
Steps
1. Open Custom App Discovery Queue 2. Locate the request you want to review 3. Read the title and notes carefully 4. Review any comments and attachments 5. Confirm whether: - the request is clear - more information is needed - ownership is correct - the request is ready to move forward 6. Update status or assignment as needed
Signs a request needs more information
A request may need more information if:
- the application scope is unclear
- the business purpose is vague
- required dependencies are unknown
- there is not enough information to support onboarding later
Signs a request may be ready
A request may be ready to move forward if:
- the notes clearly describe the app and need
- technical or operational context is captured
- supporting files exist where needed
- the team understands what onboarding would require
Best practice
Use comments to ask for missing information instead of leaving the request in a vague state with no explanation.
