Before you start
Make sure:
- you are signed in
- you know which notification categories matter most to your role
Steps
1. Open Settings 2. Locate Notification Preferences 3. Review the available categories 4. Turn categories on or off as needed 5. Review any available email notification toggles 6. Save if required
What happens next
After updating preferences:
- future notifications follow the new settings
- muted categories will no longer appear in-app if disabled
- supported email alerts will follow your email preference settings
Best practice
Leave high-value operational categories enabled, especially for work items you directly own.
