Notifications in NxtLayr

NxtLayr includes in-app notifications to keep users informed about assignments, approvals, onboarding updates, provisioning events, and other workflow activity. Some notification categories may also be delivered by email, depending on your preferences.

Where notifications appear

Notifications are available in:

• the notification bell in the application header
• the Notifications page
• optional email delivery for supported events

Common notification types

Depending on your role and preferences, you may receive notifications for:

• onboarding task assignments
• requested app assignments
• custom discovery assignments
• approval request submission
• approval decisions
• approval expiry
• requested app provisioning
• custom discovery conversion
• organization activation

Read and unread state

Unread notifications are counted in the notification bell. You can mark individual notifications as read or mark all notifications as read from the Notifications page or bell dropdown.

Filtering notifications

The Notifications page may allow filtering by:

• all
• unread
• read
• assignment
• onboarding
• provisioning

Notification preferences

You can manage your preferences in Settings. Preferences control which notification categories are shown in-app and which supported events can also be sent by email.
