Activity Timelines show the history of supported work items in NxtLayr. They can include user comments and system-generated events such as assignments, status changes, provisioning, and conversion milestones.
Why activity timelines matter
Timelines help users understand:
- what changed
- who made the change
- when the change happened
- what still needs to happen next
They reduce confusion and make collaboration easier across teams.

- user comments

How to add a comment
1. Open a supported work item 2. Go to the Activity or Comments section 3. Enter your message 4. Submit the comment
Best practice
Write comments that help the next person understand the situation. A useful comment usually explains:
- what changed
- what is blocked
- what is needed next
- what decision was made
