Manage Notification Preferences

Notification Preferences lets you control which in-app and email notifications you receive in NxtLayr. This helps reduce noise while still keeping you informed about the events that matter to your role.

Why manage preferences

Different users care about different events. For example:

• an Onboarding user may want assignment and provisioning alerts
• an Executive Viewer may want only a small number of summary notifications
• a Support Agent may want assignment and approval-related alerts

Notification Preferences helps you tailor the experience to your work.

Where to find notification preferences

1. Open Settings 2. Go to the Notification Preferences section 3. Review available in-app and email categories

Types of preferences

Depending on your environment, you may see preferences for:

• onboarding task assignments
• requested app assignments
• custom discovery assignments
• organization request approved
• organization request paid
• requested app provisioned
• custom discovery converted to application
• organization activated
• approval request submitted
• approval request approved
• approval request rejected
• approval request expired

How to update preferences

1. Open Settings 2. Locate the notification category you want to change 3. Turn the category on or off 4. Changes are saved in the platform

Best practice

Keep in-app notifications enabled for important work you directly own. Use email notifications more selectively for events that need quick attention outside the app.
