Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions about roles, permissions, tickets, applications, approvals, and notifications.
Why do different users see different pages?
NxtLayr is role-aware. Your landing page, navigation, and allowed actions are based on your assigned role and permissions.
Why can't I see a page someone else has?
You may not have permission for that page, or the feature may not be enabled for your role or environment.
What is the difference between My Tickets and Support Workspace?
My Tickets is a personal or limited-scope view. Support Workspace is typically a broader operational page for support roles.
What is the difference between requested apps and applications?
Requested apps are intake-stage requests captured during onboarding. Applications are full operational records used throughout the platform.
Can I upload files to work items?
Yes, supported items may allow attachments. This depends on the type of item and your permissions.
Why did my approval request expire?
If an approval request has an expiry time and no decision is made before that time, it is automatically marked expired.
How do I control notification noise?
Go to Settings and review your notification preferences. You can control which categories generate in-app and email notifications.
Can Standard Users see all support tickets?
No. Standard Users typically see only their own support items or limited self-service views.
