Frequently asked questions about role-aware visibility, read-only roles, and action availability.
Frequently asked questions about role-aware visibility, read-only roles, and action availability in NxtLayr.
Q: Why do different roles see different pages?
NxtLayr is role-aware. Each role is designed to see the pages and actions that match its responsibilities.
Q: Why can I see a page but not edit anything?
Some roles are read-only or partially limited. In other cases, the page may be visible but actions are restricted based on ownership or workflow state.
Q: Can Standard Users access Support Workspace?
Standard Users usually have a simpler support experience through My Support Home and My Tickets rather than the full operator workspace.
Q: Can Executive Viewers approve requests or change onboarding items?
No. Executive Viewer is intended to be read-only.
Q: Can Org Managers do everything Org Admins can do?
Not usually. Org Managers are generally more limited and focused on scoped operational views.
Q: Why can internal roles see onboarding or discovery views that customer roles cannot?
Internal roles like Onboarding, FDE, and Super Admin are responsible for operational workflows that customer roles may only partly see or not see at all.
